Doulton ceramic filters operate using mechanical filtration. The water flow rate depends on your incoming water pressure—the stronger the pressure, the faster the flow.
• With 1 BTU filter (4 stages of filtration) at 2 bar, the estimated flow rate is approximately 1.8–1.9 L/min.
• When using 1 BTU filter together with 1 Sterasyl filter (6 stages of filtration), the combined flow rate is approximately 1.2–1.3 L/min.
Our countertop system with Biotect Ultra® is a quality water filter system created to provide maximum durability. Available in stainless steel and fitted with a chromium plated brass base, or plastic housing your ceramic filter receives the ultimate level of protection.
Our system is fitted with a long life, cleanable ceramic NSF & WRAS approved Biotect Ultra® filter element to provide you with up to 72 litres per hour of refreshingly clean, drinking water on tap.
All countertop systems connect to an existing tap using the supplied diverter valve and are designed to sit next to a sink on a kitchen counter or a work surface. Any kitchen, anywhere!
